Iris Bolling was born and currently lives in Richmond, Virginia with son, niece and significant other Raymond.
In an effort to combine the areas in her life she enjoys the most, education, politics and romance, she penned her first manuscript in 2007 and has never looked back. As a child reading was her favorite pastime and romantic historical novels were at the top of her list. Later contemporary romantic suspense took over. So it was no surprise to find her talents progressed in that direction. Romance was the only genre for her.
Iris has won several awards including an Emma for Debut Author the Year, Romance Author of the Year and Author of the Year by Shades of Romance Magazine. In addition her debut novel, Once You’ve Touched the Heart was voted the Readers Choice Award with Shades of Romance Magazine.
Iris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management. She is a trainer with the Commonwealth of Virginia as her profession. When she is not writing you can find her at a football, basketball or baseball game or curled up with a good book and a hot cup of tea.
