Synopsis - Once You've Touched The Heart

Tracy Washington, a young woman from humble beginnings is given an opportunity of a lifetime. Her street-wise brother sends her to an HBCU, which is the perfect escape from her self-absorbed mother. She takes full advantage and starts her own business. While in college she meets J.D. Harrison, he is her roommate's, now business partner's brother and her life is never the same.

J.D. Harrison is destined to be an undeniable force in politics, however, his strong sense of integrity and belief in a fair and just system places him in a constant struggle between right and wrong.           Bolling weaves an interesting tale of romance and political suspense. Cynthia learned the difference between love for material things and love of the heart. There were many returning characters
         and many new ones that will make you laugh out loud. Bolling has definitely grown as a writer and makes it a point to take her time to tell the entire story.

          Look Into My Heart is the 3rd installment of Iris Bolling's Heart Series. It is the love story of Cynthia and Samuel. Here we have another story that is fraught with danger and intrigue. I enjoyed
          getting to know more about Cynthia, who is a character in both of the previous books. She has not been a very likable person, but truly grows and redeems herself in this book. Samuel is
          captivating, strong, and sexy. But more than anything else, he brings out the best in Cynthia. Ms. Bolling, once again, keeps you on the edge of your seat with the plot twists and turns. There are
          plenty of new characters introduced that I would like to read more about. Kudos, Ms. Bolling, for another homerun. Keep them coming!!

         The writing is vibrant and the story is enthralling. If you haven't checked out the series, you don't know what you're missing! These books will win your heart! And Look Into My Heart is the
         must-read book of the summer.

          Richmond, Virginia is well represent in the mix of all that is conveyed in this smash novel. Bolling has proven herself worthy of writing a series with such strong literary contribution from her
          characters. The plots are superbly weaved together, just enough to keep you flying through the pages to see what happens next! Kudos to the author and I look forward to reading her next
          installment in The Heart Series!

Bolling's story was very intriguing and fun to read. She was able to introduce two characters that were likeable and realistic. I also enjoyed the campaign strategies as James prepared to run for
          office, very reminiscent of this year's presidential campaign. Bolling answered questions from her first book and left room for additional stories. Fans of Bolling will enjoy this one as much as her
          first book.

          in-between continues. Looking forward to the next book!

          political sabotage, infidelity and so much more. Overall, I found this book to be very enjoyable.
